Our expert, M.Sc. Joanna Maciak has been specializing in the nutrition of dogs, cats, horses and exotic animals for years, helping animals and their owners all over the world. Joanna gained knowledge in the field of animal nutrition at the Faculty of Animal Science at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, receiving a diploma of engineering and defending the thesis entitled "The influence of feeding complete dry foods on the development of neurodegenerative diseases in older dogs". Hungry for further knowledge in the field of animal nutrition, she decided to go to a renowned university in Spain, where she obtained a master's degree in international studies at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Universidad de Zaragoza and completed postgraduate studies receiving the title of specialist in the field of animal nutrition. The desire to constantly expand her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest scientific research and trends in the field of animal nutrition led her to take over 50 certified courses in veterinary dietetics of companion animals recognized by international veterinary organizations. Participation in many seminars and symposia fueled our passion and vocation for natural nutrition of our four-legged friends. The vast amount of scientific knowledge she acquired led her to specialize in the nutrition of canine cancer patients and animals with neurodegenerative problems. Our expert consults and develops the awareness of animal owners about the nutrition of dogs, cats, horses and exotic animals. She is the author of many publications in the field of animal nutrition, and is a member of The Equine Nutrition Learning Center, European Society of Veterinary & Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN) and Raw Feeding Veterinary Society.
